With the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM you can shoot creative images by vastly exaggerating perspective, providing virtually unlimited depth of field and wildly warping the periphery. This professional-calibre lens will give you the widest angle of all the lenses in this category. In the image above, notice how the horizon is curving upwards in an unreal fashion, in particular the water in the lower right is thrust into the foreground. The overall effect is one of greatly increased movement and drama. The right side of the photo increasingly becomes the focus while the middle background (sunset) fades further into the distance. This is a short lens so the depth of field is greater. Even though the objects in the background are smaller, the degree of focus is the same as objects in the foreground. A high-precision, glass-moulded aspherical lens element combines with an Ultra-Low Dispersion element for tack-sharp images with vastly reduced colour bleeding.
